Meet the Minds Behind the Mission: Bianca Ebreo
Bianca Ebreo graduated from Wenatchee Valley College in 2011, and believes education
is important because it builds confidence.
“There’s power in knowing you can learn something new, figure things out, and grow over time,” she said. “It reminds people that they’re not stuck—they can evolve. Education isn’t just about school or degrees. It’s about the opportunity to shape your own future.”
Bianca is inspired to serve on the WVC Foundation board because she has seen firsthand how education can open doors and change the trajectory of someone’s life. “Serving on the board allows me to support students, strengthen the college, and help ensure future generations have access to the same opportunities,” she said.
Some of Bianca’s favorite memories as a WVC Foundation board member include volunteering at the Foundation’s annual Food Truck Knight event. “Seeing the community come together to support our mission while enjoying great food makes the event both fun and impactful.”
Outside of serving on the WVC Foundation board, Bianca enjoys spending time with family, reading, cooking, and listening to podcasts and audiobooks.
WVC matters to Bianca because it gave her a second opportunity. “I struggled in high school and didn’t think higher education was possible for me,” she explained. “My counselor encouraged me to attend WVC, and I’m glad I listened. Attending WVC gave me another chance at education. Through hard work and support, I was able to transfer to a four-year university and ultimately build a career in the field I wanted.”
